Why I do this work
I am a counselor because I believe people are capable of far more than just getting through life. My goal is to help you live a fulfilling and meaningful one.
Therapy is not easy. It can be hard to explain your feelings and experiences to someone who doesn’t know you well. There are many different reasons we struggle with mental health or addiction, so my approach is tailored to you and your needs.
My approach is to meet you where you are and empower you to take the next step through goal setting and skill building. I hope to help you push through fears and learn healthy ways to cope. Regularly confiding in someone gives us a sense of security and peace of mind.
I spent years practicing in the Denver area before moving my practice fully online. Sessions are on Google Meet, and I work with adults and couples anywhere in Colorado.
What I like to do for fun
- Making my rockstar wife laugh
- Playing with my Husky
- Going to the gym
- Watching any sports, but especially Manchester United, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the White Sox (it’s a long story)
- Cooking new recipes, especially smoking meat
- Watching The Office for the 100th time and going to live comedy shows
- Snowboarding with friends and family
